How long have you been working at Madingley Hall?: 11 Years

When did you first come to Madingley Hall and what were your first impressions? It was for my interview and I remember being amazed by the building and the setting and thinking I would be very lucky to work here.

Do you have a favourite part of the Hall/gardens or a favourite object? I love the Rose Garden in June/July - it is stunning

What is your academic discipline or what did you study at university? I studied European Studies with German at the University of Kent. I got involved in some student events in my final year, loved it and decided to pursue a career in event management

Have you ever organised a big personal or business event? I guess my own wedding would be a 'big' event that wasn't work related! (Though my Mum helped enormously with that one!) I also get involved in planning a stage show every year.

Can you tell us some “fun facts” about yourself ?

• Twice a year I perform with my fellow members of the Oundle Gilbert & Sullivan society in our shows
• I love to travel and have a long bucket list of places I still want to go to (I ticked one off last year when I got to visit the Great Wall of China)

Any other recommendations for anyone coming to Madingley Hall? Take time to enjoy the gardens, we are an excellent place to just relax, breathe deep and take time out (even in the middle of a work conference!)
